Life Cycle Celebrant
Creating moments of meaning—even amid grief—is a sacred calling. As a Life-Cycle Celebrant and End-of-Life Doula, I support individuals and families through some of life’s most tender passages with compassion, presence, and care.
The passing of a loved one is a profound moment in life’s dance. Sudden loss can feel overwhelming in its shock, while the death of an elder after a long life may allow space for reflection and heartfelt goodbyes. I am especially experienced in crafting sensitive, trauma-informed Celebrations of Life for children and for loved ones who have died by suicide, always honouring each life with dignity and respect.
Having accompanied friends and family through end-of-life journeys as an advocate and trusted companion, my work is grounded in both deep personal experience and professional training. This ensures that my clients have a caring, knowledgeable partner as they navigate end-of-life planning, consider home funerals, and address the physical, emotional, and spiritual concerns that often arise during this time.
I offer Celebration of Life ceremonies and end-of-life support in Peachland, BC and throughout the Okanagan Valley, creating ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and deeply human.
As your Celebration of Life Officiant, I will:
- Meet with you to learn about your loved one through stories, memories, and shared meaning
- Offer guidance on traditional, contemporary, spiritual, or non-religious rituals and symbols you may wish to include
- Collaborate with you to craft a personalized Celebration of Life ceremony that truly honours your loved one
- Officiate the ceremony with sensitivity, grace, and calm presence. Creating happiness amid bereavement is a high calling; one that speaks to me as a Life-Cycle Celebrant and an End of Life Doula.

In addition to being trained as a Life-Cycle Celebrant, I am certified as a "Sacred Passage Doula" through the Conscious Dying Institute. As a community service, I co-founded and facilitate the Okanagan Valley Death Cafes.
Whether it is your death, or the approaching death of a friend or family member, having a knowledgable partner who can provide the extra presence needed to fill in the gaps of care or information about options, can bring enormous peace of mind to all concerned in the dying process.
